Good feeling's gone....

I suppose, I was like Marlin, from "Finding Nemo", when he's chasing after the glowing light from the larger, dangerous deep sea fish. When he finds out what the light is attached to, he utters "Good feeling's gone".

I often wonder how it is that I can feel pretty good and ready to get things done for several weeks, then one day wake up and not want to participate in life until many hours later.

Too often these days, I feel as though I don't want to participate in life, work, etc. I want to sleep or just while away the time playing games, reading books or doing nothing at all.

When I ponder this, I don't feel depressed, I often just don't feel much of anything.

Is it that I'm tired? Is it that I am lacking some sort of vitamin or motivational herb?

I can wish all day for motivation and it may or may not come. Yesterday, I was in a similar funk. While I wanted to work, I had a hard time actually doing it.

What should have happened, was I should have taken my job a bit more seriously and been searching for the VMware knowledge that I lacked.

This knowledge will set my tools and information apart from others, so that I can perform various functions and tests by self detection rather than running these extended tests and showing errors or wasting CPU cycles.

Now, since I was feeling tired, I did take a no-doze caffeine tablet, and perhaps that is what is waking me up.

Why, even participating in life, such as writing this BLog entry, I am starting to wake up, finally.

God willing, I will continue to wake up and keep working, getting motivation to be a "good servant" towards my employer and provide my in depth and uniquely "impossible" reporting techniques.
