Uncle Update... He went over the curb...

If you're in the Norther Hemispehere, I'm sure that you've noticed the nicer weather recently.

Well, my Uncle was outside of his assisted living facility sunning himself on a rock, like most senior citizens do. (I mean he was in his wheel chair, but damn, don't old folks look scaly like a reptile?)

Uncle... say, I haven't given him a "name" yet... Let's call him Uncle Bob.

Well, Uncle Bob was distracted by the sunshine and his wheel chair went over the curb of the sidewalk into the parking lot.

He bumped his head a bit and gave himself a small cut over the right eye.

I haven't seen it yet, but since I like to give him some space, instead of hovering over him like a dingo, hungry for his next meal, I left him alone...

I'll see it sooner or later, probably on Thursday, as that's his next Dr. appointment.

We're going for Chemo again, so I will be sitting there reading my Kindle, perhaps I'll finish "Little Women" soon.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I do love the new Kindle Touch update. 5.3.2.1

It has a feature to show how many minutes/hours that it will take to finish reading a book or chapter. (Depending on how the MOBI/Kindle book was parsed out).

This has really helped me to get further into Little Women.  It's a good book, but there are some dry places and knowing how "long" or "additional torture" is going to be inflicted by Ms. Alcott, I can plan my reading accordingly. (i.e. while I'm sitting on the throne, or in between sessions where my wife is yelling at me.. etc.)
(My wife doesn't really yell at me, she generally gets mad at me, then bottles it up until she blows up... Hopefully, there are times that I can help "uncork" this volatile solution and keep the blow up down to just a fizzle.
