Today I'm doing well, for the most part.
I thought I was heading into a manic state this morning around 1:00 AM when I woke up, only to find out that my right knee was hurting like hell. A really hot soak in a bath helped with the pain, and I finally slept off and on until around 7:00.
Sunday I worked with the same type of pain. It felt like I had someone hammering on the top of the bones of my right leg, just under the knee cap. Really tender and sore. Like the bone was bruised.
Strange thing is that I didn't do any major activity yesterday that should've caused that type of pain.
I only wish that my body was able to work with NSAID meds, as they would help some of the pain & swelling I get... but it seems, 9 years ago, when I became lactose intolerant, I also became intolerant towards citrus fruits/juice and the NSAIDs. I suppose to sum it up, anything that's a form of acid causes my digestive system irritation and everything moves through very fast... Feels like acid when it exits. (That's as much detail as I'm sure many of you want to read anyway...)
My programming project is almost at an end and we're just wrapping up everything this week before we start to work on the next phase/project. This is good, as it should've been done months ago. Going through some of the mental angst that I had last year, really put me behind as there were days that I just couldn't work.
Hard to define "just couldn't work", but days where you sit at your desk, knowing that you can do the job, knowing what needs to be done, knowing that it's not hard to do, but your brain's neurons can't connect them all together to work.
