What a bunch of whiners, and not the whiners that people are whining about...

One thing that I really hate these days, due to the "love" of the internet and "consequence" freedom of speech.

I am a huge person for freedom of speech, and for the freedoms of people, so long as they do not restrict the freedoms of others.

Now, there are many, many things that I abhor, yet I'd rather people have their freedom.

After all, the meth addicts are proof that they're just getting screwed by their choices.

Where does this actually lead?

Well, this is about those who whine and take time to bitch at others, specifically how they're perceived.

For example, this morning, I saw an article about how Andie MacDowell was very upset that she was forced from her first class seat and told to ride in "tourist" class.

This isn't a matter of the rights or perceptions of who's better than who.

It's getting what you paid for!

If I pay $10 to get a good batch of pot, I expect to get it
(Note, I don't smoke pot,but I am using it for this example)

If the dealer didn't give me the best pot as I expected, I would be very, very pissed.

Truth be told, I would probably tell everyone who used pot that I knew to stay away from this dealer.

So, should I be put down and made fun of by everyone for not getting my primo weed?

Or perhaps I think I'm above all the other pot-heads because I didn't get the stuff I paid for?

In Andie's case, she pre-booked and paid for goods & services only to not get them.

If I was in her shoes, I would be extremely pissed too.

So, the "whiners" are two fold.

There are those who didn't get what they paid for.  These are those who have a legitimate reason to complain about the person they're doing business with.

Then there are those who are whining because the other people got screwed or are complaining...

The second series of whiners are also those who are socialists, whether they realize it or not.

They want to make fun of the "rich" or those who should get what they pay for.

These same people think it's just that people shouldn't get what they pay for.

Yet, when they don't get what they pay for, they bitch and complain and picket the store, restaurant etc, etc.

So, who's treated fairly and who's not?

You know???

Not everyone is equal.

We all have the equal right to do things.

Yet, there are some of us who are better at things than others and others who are better than us.

I know that I am better than others in many things.

I also know that I am not as good as others in many more things.

I keep telling my children this.

You are going to be better than others with your school studies, while others are better than you are.

So don't be cocky.

After all, I am better at learning and doing things...

but I am a really piss poor student!

Ellie is a great student, but she doesn't pick learn things well or even as fast as I can.

I look up to Ellie because she was so much better at being a student than I was.

I make more money because of my ability and not because of my excellent education...

but I sure as hell do not feel superior to people like Ellie who tried as hard as they could to learn and apply themselves.

To sum this up...

If you don't get what you pay for, why shouldn't you be pissed?

If someone else doesn't get what they pay for, should you make fun of them for it?

Would you like it if someone called you a whiner because you didn't get what you paid for?

Or is it different because they have more money or are better at some things than you are?
