The world is full of stupid assholes and they even come in small sizes too.

Well, I know that assholes are aplenty in the world.

Hell, I'm an asshole at times too.

Today though, a younger asshole took Big Miss's school binder from the lunch room.

Why?

It could be that the lil' asshole wanted the binder itself.

Or perhaps wanted the homework/notes/etc that were inside.

Or maybe the lil' asshole wanted the supplies inside of it. Pens/pencils/calculator/erasers/etc.

I honestly don't know, but I did give Big Miss a little bit of hell for not putting her stuff into her locker during lunch!

Did I always put my stuff into my locker at her age?

Not always, but I always knew exactly where it was, and I usually kept it with me, or insight, or with the stuff that belonged to the rest of my friends.

I also gave Big Miss some hell for not going right back to the cafeteria and asking the adult on staff monitoring the cafeteria.

That should've been the first thing that she did.

In a modern age, at least all the teachers have email addresses and have become proficient with this technology.  (Ellie has an email account, but just doesn't do anything with it.  She also works in education, but Ellie would rather stay ignorant of that technology than to actually educate herself.)

So, I sent an email to all of her teachers and told them of her stolen binder and to keep that in mind till we can get her a new one and resupply it.

We're not really worried about the binder or supplies themselves as much as we're worried about all of her notes & school work.

I wish people weren't so selfish to covet and then steal what other people have.

After all, if that didn't happen, then the world wouldn't be full of assholes.
