Perhaps the past should stay in the past?

About five years ago, when I realized that something was "wrong" with me, I have often thought about my good friends from High School.

I hoped by contacting my old friends that, I would find "sanity".  In some way, it could remind me that I wasn't always "crazy" in the mental state that I had found myself in.

I finally found one of my friends and we started corresponding via email.

It seems that it didn't go well.

We corresponded with the city/location we each wound up at.  My friend looked at my city with an online map resource.  In my response, I said that I did the same.  In the same message, I also said that I didn't want to "hook-up".

My intentions in that phrase was to simply put my dedication to my family first and foremost over friendship.


This will probably be all that I will ever write about this person again.

I hope that this persons is happy and continues to find happiness in life.
