One of the YouTube channels I'm subscribed to is Victor Poulin.
He builds boomerangs, shows how to fly them and actually gives a few away every month.
Now, if you're the kid-like person that I am, this has been cool watching the videos, and I hope to win one or two myself.
However, I am more curious than to just own one and throw it.
I want to build one.So, thankfully Victor posted another video with the basics of how their built using one of his pre-drawn patterns on a piece of wood he sells. They're basically just ready for the making. (i.e. cut it out and do some shaping)
Well, I happen to have a smallish sort of stash of various woods. Mostly walnut, as I had most of a walnut tree from a friend in my shop that I slowly turned in various bowls, cups, boxes, flutes, etc.
Now, I did use Google and found various patterns online that I will use as my general guideline for making my own boomerang out of my scraps.
I'll try to get pictures and perhaps I may even do a video of it being thrown. (I don't know about a video right now... but if it was taken at a distance, it might be OK...(See my first post about my picture being used online))
