I'm glad Ellie is here as my emotional support, but I really feel like a kid sucking on his mamma's tit some days.

I don't want to burden Ellie with my emotional baggage... but dammit.

I know that's not just a Mormon answer.

It's the answer for every religion that I can think of.

My personal belief is that God doesn't punish people because they've done something wrong, because that would be jacked up.

I also don't believe that mental illness or emotional problems are also a punishment and that you've done something wrong, which is why you're fucked up.

However, I do understand that the Holy Ghost isn't as close when you're not attempting to be closer to God.

Maybe I just answered my own question...
